Foundation for the Promotion of Industrial Innovation was created by Madrid Polytechnic University through its Rectorship, with collaboration of Industry and Energy Ministry at request of the Collage of Industrial Engineering of that University. It was registered at the Teaching Foundation´s registry on the eighth of July 1993. This Foundation means a new impulse in this long tradition of work that Laboratories, Institutes and Departments of this E.T.S.I.I. (Collage of Industrial Engineering) have been carrying out for Industry since its creation and more recently in these last years. This work mainly consists in research and development projects, experiments, calibrations, consultancies and experts works or studies in a great number of scientific and technical areas. The Foundation is committed to total compliance of safety regulations and quality standards, aiming at the best technical service in all task developed both for outside customers (companies, institutions) and own research and development programs. An important number of professionals with recognised expertise currently work with our Foundation, which also has a suitable equipment placed in different Laboratories and Departments. The LCOE and 23 associated laboratories belonging to E.T.S.I.I., are the main technical work-teams of the Foundation. These Laboratories have different accreditations and certificates; about this, we point out those which have been garanted by Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, National Accreditation Body and Spanish Metrology System. At international level, it is worth citing those accreditations granted by CENELEC. The Foundation, with its presence in European and international forums (CIGRE, CEN/CENELEC, EUROLAB), shows its vocation of collaboration with the rest of Europe and industrialised countries. In addition the Foundation also has an administrative and management support orientated to the customer. |
